Haha, I know, my post stands against what I would normally say. But in this issue, I see a way to force the tea-drinking politicians, whom I deeply disagree with, to make tough decisions in their own states. Most blues states are "donor" states, paying more federal revenue than received. Most "red" states are "recipient" states, taking more revenue than they pay.
So there is the crude source of my odd opinion on this issue. You get what you pay for. And if they want to decrease wealth redistribution, then they should have to taste their own sour candy.
