(KMOV) -- The Illinois Commerce Commission has announced plans to hold a public forum to discuss Ameren Illinois' proposal to increase rates for the delivery of natural gas and electricity to its customers.
The meeting is scheduled to take place Tuesday, August 30, at 1 p.m. in the Commission's main hearing room, at 527 E. Capitol Ave in Springfield, IL.
Ameren initially proposed increasing rates for gas and electric delivery service to generate an estimated $110.5 million in new annual revenue.

The docket numbers for the cases are 11-0279, for electricity and 11-0282 for natural gas.
