MsFiddler, It gives you great peace to know that your father is now out of pain. His battle with worldly problems and strife has been turned over for a new dawning. He now rests in a place with loved ones and friends in a world where pain is unknown, where wealth comes to all. He now knows the kind of peace that we all someday strive to know.
Take comfort as well in the fact that his grandson, your son was there to welcome him to his new home. I envision him standing with open arms and a smile on his face as they embraced.
For those who don't believe in this life after death I hope and pray that they find comfort in other ways as you are doing today. Losing loved ones is so hard. In our worldly bodies we deal with the grief, the loneliness and the empty hole in our hearts. In their new heavenly home those loved ones look down on us and say," Don't grieve for me. I'm in a place that is near perfection. Pefection will be known when we meet again".
May the peace of 1000 angels cover your home tonight. May the love of other family members and the good will of those here give you comfort. Most of all know that your dad is smiling down on you tonight and praying that you will continue with a strong and happy life.
