Rioters were pushed back in a neighborhood of Turkish and Kurdish immigrants, a large group of local men fought them off with pool sticks.
Unfortunately, it's illegal for civilians to own handguns, and the restrictions on rifles and shotguns are so extreme that most law abiding citizens can't get them, so they had to make do with what they had.
I love this story though, these immigrants were the only people who had the guts to stand up to them, not in our neighborhood
