There are several community gardens around Granite City this year. I know the Old Six Mile museum has a fresh produce stand out front. I have gotten several tomatoes and banana peppers from them. They also sell corn, cantelope, and cucumbers. It is self serve so you can stop by there anytime. The money goes toward the museum. The tomatoes were planted by the 4th grade students at Worthen. Gave them a chance to learn about gardening.
