I went up and saw the parade of flags along 157. I hope the family felt as proud as I did seeing this tribute to a real American hero. Sad that he died in a lonely place so many years ago but at least now there is some closure.
I knew the family of this young man. His parents died some years ago. I wish they could have been here to see the reaction of the community in welcoming home their son to his final rest.
