I have heard, not a fact just gossip, that there are several GC Firemen on disability for injuries and that they are milking it and have been for a while. I have no clue if this is true as it is a rumor that's been floating around town for a while.
Anyone ever heard this or know anything about it?
I don't like the idea of cutting back unless absolutely necessary. You can't tell me that the police department in Granite City is any better or worse than in any other town. You have your good cops who go out of their way to insure safety and enforce the law. You have your bad cops that go on a power trip once they are given any type of authority.
