The animals aren't just dying because of the drought...there have been many fires due to the drought. The animals are actually catching on fire and spreading these fires to nearby dry brush, making it difficult to get the fires under control. Rather than waste the water trying to put these brush fires out...the firemen try to head them off and build ditches to fill with water to try to contain them until they die out. People actually start watering down their yards and houses in case the fire heads in their direction. It is crazy! We hear of the big fires on the news in places like Arizona or California...but these fires are occurring almost everyday back in my hometown. The sand storms are horrible as well. We need to pray that they get lots of rain soon. With 106 degree weather and no rain in months...many animals and people are suffering over there. I will gladly share some of the rain we have had almost on a daily basis here. Sad situation
