I heard him first hand as well as many people in the audience. Here's a thought... why not ask the Mayor or any number of the teachers that were in the production. As boisterous as he was to the paying customers of his obvious dislike for the idea of Summerstage and this production being in his theater; I'm sure some of the cast witnessed his antics as well. Sad but true he was not misquoted. Please inquire for yourselves and report back. This behavior should be unacceptable from any adult in any situation, especially from a teacher within our district in a theater that our tax dollars built - and oh yes,that also pay his salary. If he was volunteering as everyone on stage were, then perhaps he should not involve himself if he is that offended by the quality of the production. He certainly did himself a disservice by his actions. And he is teaching our youth? What an example!
