You want some responses...I'll give this 8 minutes because I have a long day tomorrow....
Dee, I'm always amazed at your outrage to certain issues. You sound more like lib every day. When people posted pics of former President Bush depicted as a monkey, no outrage. When people called him stupid, no outrage. When people bashed former President Clinton for his antics behind closed doors no complaints.
Everyone is open to criticism. Painting a black person as a monkey is considered racist. I don't condone that they even depicted Bush as a monkey. Those kinds of things weren't posted by me during the Bush Presidency. I might have attacked his performance, and if you want to attack Obama's performance, you are free to do so. Painting a black person as a monkey is racist... and that display of racism chased off Busey. So WONDER in the mirror if you must wonder at all. And when you stamp people with the assclown label, make sure one isn't staring back at you.
Lastly, I don't care if I sound like Lib or less like him. I call it down the middle. I respect you but I'll still tell you you're full of siht when it's warranted and I'll do it to lib too.
Just because you don't like what I say doesn't mean I'm like other people who disagree with you. You like to lump people in camps, but no dice this time, buster.
Yet, you, lib and a few others here take offense to people taking shots at Obama. Every night late night show hosts make fun of him. Saturday night has a field day with him and what do you know? OUTRAGE!
<Yawn> That is ridiculous. If people take shots at Obama, and it's because they see from a different point of view, why would I be offended. He is the president and people are going to go after him. But you would think they would do it because of his policies and his performance. Do you see any of them drawing him like a monkey?
It seems like he is declared off limits because he is African American. Now his backers celebrated that he was the first African American President but when anyone bashes him it's because they're racist. It's lame Dee. So frickin lame that I can't believe I respond to it.
More off topic drivel here. He doesn't deserve special treatment because of his race. I personally never said he did. But like I said above, it's not an outrage to satirize him like any other president. However to use signs and symbols that are blatantly racist, attacks the president BECAUSE he is African American. I don't believe he deserves special treatment BECAUSE he is African American..However drawing him as a monkey is precisely satirizing him BECAUSE he is African American.
To be honest, until you posted the link I wasn't even aware the admin had removed the pic. It was a joke, a slam on a guy that at least 45% of Americans do not like or respect. But that's okay, keep calling us racists. The next time you bash Palin I'll call you a sexist. Really Dee, you're so much better than that.

Debating the ideas of Obama is not racist, drawing him as a monkey is.
Debating the ideas of Sarah Palin is not sexist, but insulting her precisely because she is a woman would be sexist.
But you have no complaints from me. I hope she outpaces the entire field of Republican candidates one by one.
As for Gary, if he did indeed let that one little comment scare (chase) him off then so be it.

The race card won't hunt her folks. Your guy deserves the same credits or bashing as any other POTUS ever has. And I'll be reminding you of that the next time you bash the other side.
I never believed any differently. Obama's record certainly is open to be attacked if it needs to be. But it needs to be because of the decisions he made as President and possibly in his political career. It doesn't need to be done because of his race.
If portraying a black person as a monkey is considered offensive by black people, why would you do it, Opi?
So thanks for playing and trying to put words in my mouth. I never believe that saying "Obama is a bad president" is a racist thing.
That was not even the issue, even though you tried to make it seem like it was the issue.
