The point is that the "rich have never stopped trying to line their own pockets" and we don't want them to go on a diet. We want them to feast. We want to create an environment that they feel will make them richer. Because then they will invest, expand and hire more workers to create more of their products so that they can make more profit and get richer. Why risk what they already have when a government is going to take 35% of it? It is safer to leave it overseas in foreign markets (and they get to keep more of what they earn). This is not a class war. There would be no working class with out the rich to build the businesses for us to work in. I've worked for a very rich man for the past year and I don't begrudge him his wealth. I'm just glad he decided to build something he wanted with it. What we have built benefits only his family, but it has employed about twenty people off and on for the last year. For that I'm grateful rather than resentful or jealous.
