Most of the time, the reason for this is for the games. My daughter is 8 and i made her one for games i approved of on facebook. I was letting her play petville and other games on mine, until we got another computer and i wanted on my page.
With her beside me she would play. The friends she had was family and good friends who played the games too. There were just a couple friends/family who was on her page that i wasn't friends with, but could trust on there.
Now that we are down to one computer (until i get it fixed) this computer is too slow to play games. So her page is deactivated until further time.
