Messege to all those effected by the recent storms, beware of the out of town companies and the fly by nighters! I recently did my research on all the companies that came to town and all of them need to go home! Hayes Roofing, NOT A LOCAL COMPANY! They are from Gainesville, Georgia as it says on their roofing license. Just because they rent a office in St. Louis doesn't mean they are a local company. Can you say false advertising! Hayes roofing is the worst of the bunch and don't know whether to feel sorry for those of you who signed with them or just write you off as dumb. Get a clue! ASAP is the next one I researched, they don't even have a license for roofing in this state! Need I say more? They will take the test and try to get a license but the salesman who came by house can't even measure my roof himself! If they need your insurance paperwork to know how big your roof is how well do you think their quality is going to be? Bottom line is if the company license doesn't have a Madison County address tske your bussiness elsewhere. Up Right is my next subject, after i submitted my contract to my insurance provider they called and offered to beat the price. THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO LOOK AT MY CONTRACT! State Farm says what they are doing is not illegal, but it is definately not appropriate! All the these above companies are hounding residents and I for one am fed up! Do you really want the strom repair done by people who have to bug you to death and send wave after wave of slick salesmen to your door? I also want to report on the pathetic job City Hall is doing regarding these dirtbag companies. They have a list of legitimate contractors, but the list is based on permits not on quality or any educated system. They said its not illegal for ASAP to use some other companies license number, when all they have to do is report ASAP to the State's attorneys office and they will be thrown out of state and also get rid of the company supplying the license. If you choose a local company you will not only get a job well done, but you will help the local economy as well. To those of you who got suckered by Hayse or ASAP, your supporting Mexico! PK, Integrity, Accredited, Affordable, Dech and Bauer, Boushard, Love, Calcott, Excellent Exteriors are all bottom of the barrel companies as well but atleast local. Quality Construction, Greotecke Roofing, A 1 Top Quality Construction, Brooks and Sons Roofing, are the local companies I found to actually have educated and honest salesman and they don't use Subs or illegals to do their work! I could go on and on but will end this with a very simple messege to all the SUCKERS OUT THERE LIKE I ALMOST BECAME....DO YOUR RESEARCH AND GO LOCAL OR BE STUCK WITH A FAST JOB DONE BY A COMAPANY THAT CARES ABOUT PROFIT BEFORE ALL ELSE!
