I echo that -- Happy Mother's day to you.
I am sorry to all the mothers out there, because mine is the best there is.
God blessed me with a beautiful mother. I wish at various stages of life I could have leveled with her, and if I could have been blessed with a better level of understanding, there would have been a lot fewer disagreements.
But to get where I am now is quite a blessing. To realize that, no, she was not perfect, but she spent much of her life giving to nothing but her family.
She was not an entertainer, nor a socialite. Everything she did, she gave to family...for me and for my siblings.
So this is a beautiful day to say -- I LOVE YOU MOM!
I will not wait until later to say it and will do my best to treasure every moment when I visit... while I am blessed to still have her around.
