We have spent billions of dollars, lost over 2,000 of our soliders in Afghanistan, but in that time, we overthrew the Taliban government that harbored Al-Qaida, shattered the orginial Al-Qaida network, killed thousands of Al-Qaida and Taliban fighters, and this weekend, killed their leader who was the chief architect of 9/11.
Isn't it about time to declare it mission (more than) accomplished and bring our troops home? Justice has been more than served, it's time for our troops to be home with their families.
