Thanks for the replies guys (gals) and, responses do sometimes produce favorable results.
Stephanie, I am really not interested in going out of Granite for the trim at this time...but I will take down this name and keep it for future projects that my require materials more than you can find in Granite....for instance, I may contact them for some Redwood.
Flowerchild...this thought had entered my mind, and I do have the necessary tools in which to do this...but still, this particular board is soft and would scar easily...and they are not #1 grade trim boards, where the older base is clear #1 grade...but even with these flaws,I may just have to do this.
Sandy S....so very good to see you here also...just sad that we had to look for a different site to visit with friends....but everything always works out for the best in the end.
