I am looking for information on The Cannon Woods...
Being an older member of Granite City, I was asked if I knew of the Cannon Woods in an email that I received. Unfortunalely, I had never heard of these woods by this name.
I will direct the question to the older members of the GraniteCityGossip site...and hope that one of the older members on the site can supply an answer to the question.

I have been going up to S I U E to mushroom hunt, not finding much up there. Do you know where the woods are here in town called cannon woods? we used to go there when i was a kid. But i can't remember where they are.. lol . Maybe off old alton road??
