a completely unfounded arguement that evades the real issue of an oversized military which was used by G.W. Bush to start a pointless and expensive war. the government always has the ability to provide for the commonwealth. it always has the ability to act in the best interest of it's people - but when your national guard is being deployed to fight pointless wars, it is impossible to be saving lives at the same time back home. those levee's that were neglected during katrina - are a part of that infrastructure i mention...the infrastructure we needed when GW was in office but we were more concerned with funding wars in the middle east and seeking bloody revenge. even my most moderate friends acknowledge they were wrong for jumping on the bloodshed bandwagon - meanwhile - i have constantly been saying that it was wrong, since before it started, and am pleased to look back on history knowing that i was right all along. You continue to suppose that I agree with Bush lock stock and barrel.
