Wow Roze,
If this woman is wanting and able to adopt a dog before the dog is put into the system of a dog pound or APA, and possibly save some money while doing so, whats wrong with that?
One rescued dog, is one less dog that will ever have to see the inside of a dog pound or shelter. I don't see any harm in her asking if anyone knows of any unwanted dogs.
