exactly catching - that is what i realized...despite my ambitions there will always be kids in ESL that i can not reach.
also catching - i worked for a charter school - not the public schools - so i was not union and and i was not paid what a union teacher would get paid. i worked in a school that was once a warehouse. our charter did not wield the same budget.
in fact i went to the school board meetings to fight for my school to stay open...they wanted to renew the charter and wanted more funds but the district was reviewing the charter and made some demands...they also gave them alot less than they asked for and renewed the charter for nearly half the time which was requested.
because of the charter's renewal not going as planned - i was laid off.
