shellgrl4, Welcome to my world and many many others.....we work our entire lives, our kids PAY for their own college, (no grants, no full ride scholarships, no hand outs), our kids work their way thru college and yet there will be forever people everywhere feeding off the system, using the government not only thru their tough times but as their way of life. The people you speak of in your rant know the government wont do a damn thing about their "lifestyle" so the cycle perpetuates from generation to generation. (My rant for the day!) "When you subsidize poverty and failure, you get more of both."
