Go for it, I don't know how old your child is, but it is best (I believe) to start them out early with others, other wise the older a child starts, the further he or she will be behind the others, while this might be ok in some cases if the child has had some input from a family member, if not, most of the time the child is so far behind others, it is a tough road to overcome.
