    I bought a manual pump out of fear of losing power when we were having the snow/ice storms. It was almost $50. The efficient electric double pumps are like $200-$300. And there actually is a group of people out there who are "exclusive pumpers," who don't ever put baby to breast (for one reason or another) but are committed enough to giving their baby human milk.

    This article really infuriated me though. There's a reason that formula companies say they're the closest thing to mother's milk . . . because no matter how much stuff they put in there, it's still not right. And that was Michelle Obama's point.

    This is not the government paying for breast pumps any more than the government pays for your cane or crutches if you buy them and do your taxes with the long form.
