I have not read anywhere that the more seasoned candidates are refusing debate each other let alone the younger candidates.
However, I have heard that our local Chamber of Commerce is trying to put a Forum Event together for all the candidates, that choose to participate, to speak to the public.
Given the fact that there are 12+ serious candidates, I think this would be the best way. A debate with that many candidates would last for hours.
While there hass been a little personal mud slinging against a couple of candidates, I don't remember reading any "bashing" on the younger candidates. Some of the board members have expressed their views that the younger ones simply lack experience. But on the other hand, some board members have promoted their reasoning why the younger candidates would be a good choice.
lc1, coming on this board, trying to pick fights is not going to get you anywhere and could be construed as harmful to the younger candidates. Your approach is not garnering them the respect you are hoping to achieve.
