I was speaking twoard some of our better competition such as Dee, Dr. Livingston and even Lib.
Since I am the only person with "Doctor" in the name, I am presuming that you are referring to me, Doctor Livingston is quite a cool nickname, I think, reminds me of Doctor David Livingstone, a medical missionary and explorer of the 1800's, he was an opponent of slavery, and the first person of European descent to find Victoria Falls in Eastern Africa.
Anyway my mind drifts from what I intended to say. I take it as a compliment that you see me as a good "competitor" in debates, though I don't like to think of myself as anyone or any political factions competition, I speak my mind, and strive to do so with a good deal of rationality, though often I don't succeed at that. I have stepped on quite a few toes, and stuffed my steel toe boots in my mouth quite a few times along the way.....
Speaking of that, Opi, I would like to make my apologies for the Lombardi furniture thread, I misjudged your motives as to why you thought it was a bad idea, I hope you accept the apology.
You seem to classify me as being somewhat on the left side of discussion around here, I don't believe that I am, at times I agree with the left, at other times I agree with the right, and many times, I agree with neither.
I'm a libertarian, which at times on issues such as supporting far more limited government, and constitutional rights (especially the 2nd amendment), I seem to be more to the right, and on some issues like marijuana legalization, I appear to be on the left....
I like to classify myself as neither left or right, my opinions are my own, and when I disagree with either side, I'll speak my mind...
