You invite us into your world and that's cool, but people are free to react.
you make good points as well - but you are confusing a few things...
i invite those to VIEW and comment on my ARTwork.
then - the part i consider stupid - people view the art and then do not comment on the art...
they comment on whether or not i could pay rent and whether or not they like someone who grew up in GC and has a bitter taste in his mouth...
yet say nothing about my artwork...
you can reference other comments i have made on previous threads about my artwork to those who actually comment ony my artwork...i engage and welcome any opinion ABOUT MY ART - especially the opinion of those who DISLIKE my work - as i need an honest critique more than i need people telling me how much they like my art...
i hope people like it - i want them to - but as far as my growth as an artist is concerned - i need the negativity...
the fact that some people hate so much - they feel compelled to comment about things other than my art makes me smile - because that means my name is in your mouth.
and as you bash my name and/or my artwork - you make others say "i wonder why he is hated" - hell it might even pique the interest of others to look at my artwork - and maybe make a fan of them.
