So was anyone on here interested in entering the chili cook off for the American Legion. There is no entry fee and you can win your very own "Chili Trophy" for that award winning pot of Chili!!!!!

“2011 CHILI BOWL”
CHILI TASTING CONTEST
SATURDAY FEBRUARY 19, 2011
NOON-5:00PM
RULES
1. Contestants should have their chili entered by Sat. Feb. 12th, 2010. 2. Chili must be prepared in advance. 3. All chili will be delivered, heated, and set up by 11:30am to the American Legion. 4. Chili can be made with or without beans. 5. Each person must present a short description of chili and/or recipe. This is mainly to tell people before they try them in case they don’t like certain things (ex. deer meat, spicy,etc.) or if someone has an allergy to something). 6. Each contestant will provide at least 2 gallons of chili (a crock pot or Roaster, the more you make, the more that will be there to judge). 7. Contestants need to supply the following for their site: a. Crock pots or Roaster for chili b. Extension cord c. Dipping / Serving spoons d. Decorations or display for your area (if desired) e. Each chili will be designated by a number assigned at the 2011 Chili Bowl f. a NAME for their chili that somewhat describes it. 8. Organizers will provide: a. Bowls and sample cups b. Spoons and napkins c. Cheese, onion, and crackers d. Voting Container for money e. Drinks, coffee, tea, water 9. All voting shall be done monetarily, by depositing coins, dollars, or other valuables in the “2011 CHILI BOWL” container located in front of the chili that you judged to be YOUR favorite. The chili that earns the most money/valuables in their CHILI BOWL container will win First Prize. 10. All moneys donated for entry to the “2011 CHILI BOWL” and money for judging will be donated to the Charity. 11. Any questions call Beth Fedorsak at 618-540-6340
