* Accumulations... the heaviest snow accumulation of 6 to 7 inches is expected along the Interstate 70 corridor in Illinois. Accumulations in the 2 to 5 inch range are forecast for areas outside the Interstate 70 corridor in west central and southwest Illinois.
A Winter Storm Warning means that 6 inches or more of snow is expected. The rapid accumulation of snow will make travel extremely difficult... if not impossible. If travel is necessary... make sure to exercise caution.
