You know I did not even look up at the Bert's Sign in the windows. I was too busy looking in the windows trying to remember what was there. I thought hardware but was sure I had it confused with Don's Hardware that has been Downtown for how long know.
I'll tell you the store I really miss is Earls Sporting Goods store. I thought that store was beautiful and I loved how it was built. Downtown has some beautiful buildings if only someone had the money to clean them up and fix them up.
Could you imagine power washing the buildings, tuck pointing along with new painted wood. I would love to see that. We need to start a community project some spring and clean up old downtown.
