I must admit that one of my more radical friends (than me) who I have on Facebook just posted "Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and Rish Limbaugh...you now have blood on your hands."

I am sorry but such a view is outlandish and insensitive. I don't care how wrong the Tea Party is or the anger they stirred up - no one is professing that someone go out and shoot up a bunch of people. This guy was off in his own la-la land, these seem to be survivalist militia types. I believe there are just people out there at the radical fringes of life, and I do not believe a mainstream Republican movement had any bearing on this man's actions. I am sure this guy was nuts and if anything is to blame, it's not just one side, it's this general ANGER and divisiveness in society. The problems lie deeper than two sides of a political debate.

There are nutty liberals out there who bomb SUV's and I wouldn't want myself associated with them either. I don't want my views to be associated with those of nuts of any type of belief.

I don't know what the Conservative (or liberal) media is going to do to spin this story. On a Sunday, ignorance of what the pundits have to say is bliss - and every day.

I just know we have a tragedy, and people need to tone it down a notch.

It's hard to reach out from Illinois and there's enough efforts here that I give my time and energy and means. But there is a place in my heart for those people and it saddens me greatly, and yes scares me - because I don't know where the next person who will snap will be located.

But I do extend my prayers that those who die rest in peace and for the families that they have comfort and peace.

I am not commenting about the perpetrator at this time. This is not the place to bring in old threads and redirect the topic.
