I am sure you all have heard the same story over and over and I have as well. I have however never witnessed it in person. One of my good friends are having a really rough time this year for the holidays. She has 3 kids and they just moved back to the area not long ago and is staying with her sister. She is really depressed over not being able to get anything for her kids for Christmas. I want to help her out but financially I can't. I have 3 kids of my own and my own bills to pay. Is there anywhere that you can suggest I can call to maybe help these kids out? I thought of doing my own collection for them but I don't even know how to go about doing it especially being this close to Christmas. I feel really bad that I can't do more. I plan on getting them a little something from my family but it's not "Santa" if you know what I mean. This is really tearing me apart. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
