    Catch, I agree with you 100 per cent. The schools can follow this bill to the letter but if mom and dad run to Mickey D's for dinner three of seven nights, order pizza delivery one or two nights a week, nothing will change.

    If kids sit on their rear ends playing video games or watching the idiot box for hours a day, the're going to be fat.

    The school menus I read are generally pretty generic. Seems like there's always fruits and vegetables. But, how many kids eat them? And as for the bill providing more revenue to schools to pay for this (six cents more a meal from what I read) you know who's going to pay for that don't you?

    Yeah Michelle, way to ride that emotional issue right through to your hubby's desk. I'm sure he'll get er done for you. And who would vote against trying to make kids healthy? Not a popular stance for any politician. However, unless the nutritious food reaches the kids mouth, it means nothing, absolutely nothing.
