Personally, I don't think we should cut anything from Social Security and Medicare. It's hard enough already for older people to survive on the pittance they receive. Why can't the highest paid government positions take a cut? Why should someone like my mom have to struggle to just put food on the table at 68 years old, while the people in those positions have voted themselves raises constantly? She has worked hard her whole life, as a single mother, to just keep her head above water. Why should she suffer, while their biggest problem is deciding which island to visit on their next vacation?
