Next thing you know, a 67 year old man,a former Olympian, stopped his bike ride to inspect the pool. He reached into the water and touched a piece of the pool's already peeling blue liner. He was arrested by the U.S. Park Police and charged with a misdemeanor for the destruction of government property. Some reports say others have been arrested for reaching in the water and retrieving blue pieces floating in the water- which is now algae green.

Some additional info: Trump projected the project would cost 1.8 million, but federal records show the final cost was 14 million. The job was done by a company that has done work on pools at some of Trump's golf courses... and.. was awarded with no bids.
