Yes, the Cardinals have got a good record, they are to be commended to this point. I don't think at the end of September that the Dodgers will be too concerned about them though. The Dodgers are superior to the Cardinals (and most other teams) and the 162 game season will prove that.

This team will not have the Cy Young winner, and they wont win the division, much less the World Series. If all goes well, they may be in the mix as a wild card team, but even that is pushing it. Walker could possibly be a comeback player candidate and Wetherholt might be in the Rookie of the year race, that's about as far as it goes for this teams accolades. If they go 81 and 81 it will be a major accomplishment. The only connection this team will have with the World Series will be to watch it on TV.
