Outcome: The infant stopped breathing and was revived by the mother's CPR, with the family receiving aid from police and firefighters, and the baby hospitalized

Provide the video or a link if there actually is an incident where mothers had "infants and toddlers dragging them around by the hand at midnight in Minnesota protesting".

If you can show a reliable source of that, then I would agree with you.

There is no reason a family driving home from their son's basketball game should be subjected to this.
