Joe has a dubious talent for turning any topic into an anti-left dig of some type. It's just expected, but it's a little obsessive. He is under the false impression that he KNOWS how everyone on the left thinks and acts.

I almost never carry cash so I don't give to panhandlers. Everyone has to make a judgement call about whether someone is legit in need or supporting a way to get high and enabling an addiction. I can think of a number of times that I've offered to buy a meal for someone if we're hitting a fast food drive thru and most times the offer is accepted and appreciated.
