I don't like when protests get violent either. I don't like seeing Old Glory burned. Yet, it is a first Amendment Right that was hard won. We don't have to like it, it's just their right.

Being that said, it's just too convenient to 'blame a side'.

No one will get over their hypocrisy.

It's far too easy for the Orange Carnival Barker to hurl insults and get the mob behind him.

It's far harder to confront the truths of causing people to live in fear, deporting legal citizens of this nation, or deporting people who came in as children who know of no other homeland.

We don't want to consider any of that.

We just want to listen to loud carnival barkers, it's a lot easier that way.
