Why should we expect better when this is what represents the city? Is it any wonder the city has the reputation that it does. This was embarrassing. All 3 of these people look like they crawled off the couch from an afternoon nap. I guess we should all just appreciate they at least had teeth in their heads! The woman in the front looked like she's never heard of a hair brush or hair style. You could barely see the one in the back, I don't even know why she was there, she never spoke a word. The mayor, who would guess that was a mayor of a city that had been invited to do a segment on a newscast? He looked like he had been caught off guard and by surprise on a day off of work out shopping at the local dollar general. Mayor, you knew you were going to be on the news doing an interview. Represent us well, clean up and put on a suit and at least try to appear professional! The lady in the front, wow wow wow, you knew you were going to be on the local news a little effort to clean yourself up would have been appreciated when you're representing an entire city!



Where are the modern-day Rosemarie Browns that can represent the city well, and that dress professional or business casual, looking clean and stylish, having pride in the way she looks. During the interview the mayor makes a statement saying we have a lot of new restaurants coming to the city, this is the first I've heard of this. During the speaking series would have been a great time to make this announcement. I'm curious now, I wonder what restaurants are coming to Granite City and when and where!
