Good question Opinionated, and it's a bit of a slippery slope. I believe anyone should be able to run a group or page, but the devil is in the details on this one making it a huge conflict of interest. She should be forced to remove the "62040" from the title which implies the connection of the group to the city. The group being an election page, should be forced to be public allowing any and all candidates and voters equal opportunity to discuss and exchange opinions and ideas about all things surrounding "62040" elections. This opportunity when being offered should be without bias and censorship. This meaning all candidates and their supporters without her personal interference.

The title of the group is misleading. Currently, as she is censoring, deleting comments and members over their opinions and comments, unintentional or not, she has set herself up for quite a legal battle. All of this biased, slander and election interference has been being allowed without the protection of her LLC, as you can clearly see she has renamed the group to "62040 Election April 2025) with no LLC to be found in the title. I'm sure the 62040 Election April 2025 has no incorporation papers filed for it, which opens the door to a lawsuit being filed against her personally. For all the reasons stated above, this is why the mayor should have spoken out against this being allowed. He is an active member of this group and this alone, in my opinion, would just strengthen any suit brought against the city itself.
