Both sides have put that pork in the bills. It was not just one side. There is a lot of stuff in there that can be cut but now they are stopping medical trials and sending food and vaccines to places that need it. 100% get rid of the crap that should not be in the budget, but there are things we should help with. Now you have china stepping in to fill the gaps. Yeah, great, have someone else pay the bill but helping with food and medicine also creates good will with these other places. Its not always about the money.
