I hear you there Gary. I'm too old now although we have thought of selling and retiring to Florida. My golf buddies are here but I know a few near our place in Florida as well. This home has been paid off for years and the kids get what's left to sell. LOL.

The city has changed. Loss of good jobs, an overwhelming amount of rental properties with some slumlords sprinkled around. I'm okay with Parkinson but until good paying jobs move back, and there's not much can be done at his level, the income levels will go down.

That being said, my folks are buried here as well as two siblings and the in-laws.

Let's hope things change. We still have dear friends here who can't move but hell, they can fly to Florida.

Time will tell and it stands still for no man.
