No matter who he would have picked the Democrat's job was going to be to Kavanaugh them which they are trying to do with Hegseth now by playing the unnamed sources game. Trump should have known this and if he didn't then I would have to say he's pretty stupid. Picking people to be on the inside was never a strong suit fo his, but this time I like his picks much better than his first go around.

Biden kept many of Trump's tariffs and even added a few of his own, I'm trying to remember all the Democrat outrage over that at the time, I may have missed it.

Putin didn't do any invading when Trump was 45, I'm sure you remember that, but he sure did under Obama and Biden. Coincidence, maybe, we shall see how that plays out.

Any Democrat president with 53 Senators would get an automatic 53 yes votes with every selection, Republicans have never been that way, which to me is a serious flaw. My guess now is that they will run Pete Hegseth off and then seek out someone else to smear. At this point, it's about all the Democrats have and they will use their media and un-named sources to intimidate and take down as many of Trump's choices as they can. Had Kamala won and had 53 senators none of this would be going on. Several lame both sides Republicans would rubber-stamp every one of her picks, not that they could stop them to begin with.

It is going to be like this for 4 years just like it was the last time. The Democrats care less than zero about the country, what they care about is themselves. Trump could be playing golf every day, but instead, he chose this chaos. It shows a lot of guts and a strong will, but I must admit, I'm not sure how smart it is. How many people would have survived what he has been through??? Very damn few. BTW, I still think the deep state has one more assassination attempt in them before 1/20 and I'm pretty sure I am not alone with that thought. Im sure Trump and his team are aware. It would be devastating to the country but I'm sure the Democrats after a day or two would get right back to work attacking Hitler Junior.
