I've never listened or watched these two, but apparently this turn of events has stirred up a lot of people for different reasons.

One thing I read which makes sense is that they view the importance of access to Trump whether they are in agreement with him or not. If the only media access to Trump is Fox News and hand picked Trump friendly media it's difficult to weed out misinformation.

It's probably a smart move on their part, the success of their show may depend on what type of access they have to Trump.

Trump is so egotistical that I'll bet even his worst enemy could meet with him, complement him, put him on a pedestal, tell him how brilliant he is, and they would suddenly be his best friend and trusted confidant. This fact is not lost on our foreign advisories.
