[i]It's an unwritten rule that once your presidency is over, you need to ride off into the sunset. Of course ego maniacs like Obama and to a lesser extent Bill Clinton can't do that.

Obama is still important to the party because he is the last successful democrat. Very clearly his influence is what put Joe on the shelf.

As for Clinton, you have to remember he left office in disgrace. He took advantage of Lewinsky and then lied about their relationship, as he did with other women and Hillary supported it.

It amazes me that women now talk about Trumps sexual deviance when JFK and Clinton were womanizers while in the WH.

Barack will be popular with the democrats and even some centrist for a long, long time.
