They have no official "power"

Maybe not official but there is no doubt that the party still comes to attention when Obama pushes an agenda. He is now, and will be long after Kamala is gone, the most powerful democrat since JFK.

During her efforts to push Kamala yesterday, she sounded more like Reverend Al pushing a civil rights platform based on abortion. I can't stand the woman, but had she been the one to step in for Joe, this race would be over. More articulate, smarter and is taken much more seriously than Kamala. I was very much relieved when she wasn't put up.
