I watched an unedited clip of Trump's "speech". It was long and boring, he complained about being told there was no teleprompter, but I guess there was one for the MC. He had a couple of good jabs at folks, but the majority of the jokes fell flat. He said multiple times to the audience... "did you get it?" and even he complained about whoever wrote his jokes.

I understand it was all in good fun, but he is so used to performing to his adoring fans at his rallys he doesn't know how to read the audience.

I did enjoy the MC's dig at Trump when he said something to the effect of Trump talking about cats being stolen and eaten and then said "it wasn't the first time Trump talked about a "kitty" being grabbed. If you watch it, look at Melania's face.. she was not amused, lol.
