Everyone said we need an outsider, but for Democrats, they didn't mean a Republican Populist outsider, and they damn sure didn't mean a Republican that would defend himself against media attacks and tell them to pound sand. No, an old man mush-mouthed Bush type or perhaps a John McCain would be acceptable, not to vote for of course but to run against. The Democrats love picking their candidate and the person they would like to run against. Of course, they prefer to run unopposed but they still have a little work to do on that one. It shouldn't take much longer.
Damn, Tim Walz really really really wants to be a U.S. Senator pretty badly.
