As usual, we all take offense to or defend the things that back our opinions or that of our party.


For instance, those old Civil War statues which at one served as reminders of a dark time in America, or heroes for the cause depending on your stance, now sit in warehouses because the left felt we should leave those times behind us.

And I remember breakfast with mom and Aunt Jemima every day in the 50's but now Aunt J isn't allowed on the table.

And what about the plastic M16's I got as toys or the bags of army men I held onto for my son after thirty years? Now they are tabu because they, unlike video games, give kids homicidal ideas.
