The Democrat Party panders to whoever they feel is the most convenient and useful group to pander to, which right now are the illegals they are greenlighting into the country. They look at people and evaluate their usefulness by estimating how many voting cycles they will be around for. They still try to scare old people with the usual the Republicans want to take your Social Security lies but they do not see them as being as vital as they once did, because their expiration date makes them less valuable. 100% that is how they operate.

JPJ - stop lying and repeating quotes that are inaccurate. Post a link to where that exact quote is attributed to Sanger.

Sanger was a supporter of eugenics, which has been discredited for a long time, but keep in mind that was in the 1920s.

that is a false quote by Margaret Sanger.
The Clinton quote is real.

Margaret Sanger was a huge support of black people who wanted more Black doctors and more access to birth control for black people. This was back in 1920 and 1930 when black women were denied access to medical care.

Are you aware because of her eugenics embracement and use of its language with her rhetoric led to the endorsement (intentional or unintentional) sterilization abuse which lasted until the 195o’s?

I’m just pointing out that what occurred in the 1920’s, which you specifically said was not rare or shocking for that period of time begat a brutal nightmare practice aimed at minority men, women and children, especially targeting the black communities lasting until the early 1960’s.

That’s is one point.

The twenties was 100 years ago. What the thinking was way back then is not at all tied to the present election.

As usual, we all take offense to or defend the things that back our opinions or that of our party.

For instance, those old Civil War statues which at one served as reminders of a dark time in America, or heroes for the cause depending on your stance, now sit in warehouses because the left felt we should leave those times behind us.

And I remember breakfast with mom and Aunt Jemima every day in the 50's but now Aunt J isn't allowed on the table.

And what about the plastic M16's I got as toys or the bags of army men I held onto for my son after thirty years? Now they are tabu because they, unlike video games, give kids homicidal ideas.

See, it's easy to use the past any way we want to.

When you put a nice saddle on a mule, it's still not a racehorse.
